Anna Lane Barfield is Operations Manager and Team Lead at Helen Tarokic Law PLLC. Anna Lane devotes her time to working with team members within the company. Anna Lane monitors progress related to staff training and the overall workflow. She also works closely with team members to create new processes and procedures based on the ever changing needs of the office. She communicates and coordinates the work with various partners in the US and abroad.
Anna Lane attended the 2016 AILA Solo and Small Firm Practice Management Conference in Orlando, Florida. Anna Lane returned from the conference and worked with Attorney Tarokic to implement new strategies that have streamlined many of the firm’s internal processes.
Anna Lane attended the 2014 AILA National Conference in Boston, Massachusetts, where she gained valuable information from immigration professionals who practice across the country. The experience provided her with a great deal of knowledge regarding immigration law and current immigration trends that has enabled her to better serve our clients. In 2015, Anna Lane participated in two Spanish language immersion courses in Costa Rica, to improve her Spanish. She has attended several seminars on managing deadlines and priorities and is constantly participating in continuing legal education programs related to the immigration work that we do.
She previously worked as a paralegal at a large firm, handling business and financial legal matters under attorney supervision. She graduated in 2008 from East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Media Studies.
Anna Lane’s experience with government agencies and public relations serve her well in the complex field of immigration.
