Norma Perez is a Senior Paralegal with Helen Tarokic Law PLLC and is fluent in English and Spanish. She was born in Raleigh, North Carolina but was raised in the Miami-Dade County area in south Florida. In 1999, Norma moved back to North Carolina.
She graduated from Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC, with an Arts Degree and Paralegal Technology associate degree. Norma joined Helen Tarokic Law PLLC in October 2023, but she has more than 15 years of experience of the legal background.
Norma brought 13 years of immigration paralegal experience to Helen Tarokic Law, previously working with another firm. There she assisted in filing various cases for Adjustment of Status to Permanent Resident, Parole in Place (PIP), Naturalization, DACA (initial/ renewals), Consular Processing, Employment Authorization Renewals, Green Card Renewals, FOIAs, obtaining FBI background checks, and family-based petitions.
Norma is passionate about her work and enjoys contributing towards the beneficial outcome of the immigrant population in her community. During her free time, Norma likes to travel, read, and spend time with her family.
